North West Social Development MEC, Basetsana Sussana Dantjie is scheduled to visit an abandoned baby at Bloemhof community health centre on Friday 2 May 2025 at 14h00.
According to the preliminary report from the social workers the baby was discovered by a local resident, after it was abandoned on the street at ‘Khala Nkomo’ section at Boitumelong township on Monday evening. The resident alerted the local councillor who called the ambulance to ferry the baby to Bloemhof health centre for medical assessment.
